net

What happened to the promise that Internet service would become faster and cheaper? I'm still waiting as I painfully pay for AT&T (Bellsouth's) DSL that has succeeded to drop me every day between 10PM-12AM for the last two weeks. The question of day is if FCC should regulate net neutrality. Or, should the question be what has been done in the last ten years to provide Internet service promised ten years ago? Or, have the companies acted in the interests of the country? If this were highways or utilities, there would be no argument.

Progress have been slow and net neutrality is being infringed. Woz is more optimistic than I am.

Effects of long-term recession.

Am I so jaded that I'm cynical about this article about old age? My generation will be the most depressed generation especially if the economy doesn't turn around and we see our retirement funds stagnate.

When another finds no room at the inn or why we should open our eyes and ears. I am always surprised when I hear college students say wealth should not be a goal in life and preach about the sin of wealth. Wealth in any quantification includes a higher education. I wish more compromise could have been made in the Dream Act.

Don't you love it when someone critiques your life choices?
