promises
The idea of covenant have been on my mind alot these days. A friend posed a question whether there is ever a situation when a covenant can be broken. I don't think there is an absolute answer. One thing that I do know is there is a lot of damage when a covenant is broken. One example is Tiger Woods. Yet, even here, we are only looking at the damage of the image of the covenant instead of a promise made between two people. Companies such as Accenture seem to also only care about the image. Broken promises has real consequences even if they aren't readily seen. Yet, it is easier than ever to break them and move on from them. So, what is it that we leave behind if what we leave is series of broken promises?
