glutton
You know that it's Thanksgiving when you realize that you have a desire for more meals than you actually have meal times. Another sign that it's Thanksgiving, when you realize that you know where all the sales are located in your vicinity and your friends'. Hmm...maybe I can get meals to go. I am grateful for alot this year.
Also, consider the real AngelTree.

change
Excellent article on incorporating change into your organization. The one I always emphasize is "Invest in genetic diversity". Really, not everybody has to think the same way you do. I also like "Encourage debate and dialectic thinking". Why can't we define a debate? Give each side opportunity to argue and refute instead of having one person drone on for hours about one idea. Another one I like "Honor resilience-friendly values". If they don't have values, they really aren't worth knowing. I think this man should write a book.

empty
Will Obama carry through with domestic spending freeze?
I've eyed the falling dollar with trepidation as well. And, I don't hold $1.33 trillion. Recent analysis of China's holdings.
I'm just not sure the Congress who wants to spend $3 trillion on national healthcare really cares.

tough
Any Asian country is going to have tight health controls on their populations and any visitors during possible pandemics. China is not the exception but the norm. The difference between the East and West is that Asians are faster to get to that stage. It will serve as an advantage during a real pandemic.
I love this idea for research access. Pain to maintain and a windfall for IT.

difference
House passes the Healthcare bill on the difference of three votes. Here is how your representative voted. This story has always been about cost. Basics of the House bill.
Recently, I heard a physician say that rationing is the only way that healthcare costs can be controlled. He believed that waiting was one way that rationing can exist. There seems to be people out there that think we don't already wait enough in medical offices and hospitals. Visit a hospital E.R. during flu season with your child and you know better. Just think waiting times could get longer.
