Bacteria @ work. Or, they may need to look for a more resilient bacteria. The clay might decrease the ability of concrete to handle pressure.

Bilingual kids can also lead to adults who can't speak one language well. Sometimes, I find people who speak only one language fascinating. If they can't find the correct word, they have to wait for the right word instead of a multilinguist who sometimes finds the word in one language to discover it's not in the right language. I think of language like a pipe, words are the water. The more pipes you have, the longer it takes for all the words to get to the right place. Yes, I'm envious of people who don't confuse their subject/verb tenses or say, "Close the lights." Unfortunately, it's a choice that is made for you.
