immigration law

Security without being secure. They are now targeting the elderly in our community.

Changes in Immigration Laws

--------
I recently heard that the Homeland Security is proposing requiring permanent residents to replace their green cards who have been here at least 1989. The replacement cost is around $370 per person.

I feel this is unjust since when according to previous court rulings, all permanent residents should be treated like citizens. In addition, they were told these IDs would be permanent.

These people have no intention of leaving their permanent homes or are any threat. Instead, they are harassed for the sake of "security" that isn't benefiting anybody.

Please ensure that permanent residents are not treated marginally since these are the same people who serve this country as our parents, our neighbors, and in our communities.
