I always have to remind myself that traveling outside of one's own country is not very common. Most people do not get to experience the thrill of being immersed in a new culture, challenged in one's perceived notions, or humbled by the beauty of the world.
Recently, I encountered the generiousity and hospitality of another people group. I was floored by their patience and eagerness to know us who sometimes muck and shred their customs and traditions.
