Finally, Intel makes a move. Good deals on laptops should already exist.

giving
Ever since my Negotiation class, I've stayed interested in game theory. I was recently watching a Numb3rs show that referred to this study about courtship gifts. I say this can be true for all gift giving relationships.

oddities
Kitten Born with Two Faces. This is most likely due to an incomplete division of a monozygotic embryo.
But, this lobster is even stranger. How are the two tones so symmetrical?

oil price
Does it seem like the oil price comes up in every conversation?
The current price doesn't look good. This where facts and emotions differ. The current facts are that demand is low, supply is high. The emotional side is there is too much conflict in the middle east and an unknown future. Right now, this is equaling to higher oil prices. Here are some oil curves.

I have many friends going through their milestone birthdays. This has made me contemplate what it means to go through these milestones. I think it is important to attach goals to these milestones because the goals allow you to see hope in the future and joy in the accomplishments.
There is one goal that I don't see much value, the goal to gain an amount of money by a particular age, especially if that is the only goal. What is the value of that one goal if you lose everything else in the process? Anyways, I'm contemplating my own goals.

in one moment
An emotional game from two impassioned countries.
Reading a friend's blog reminded me how meeting one person can change your views. Among many others, I've been challenged by Palestinans, motivated by Ghanians, encouraged by Swedes, guided by Koreans, accepted by Peruvians, and taught by Chinese. Each person willing to bring their individual ideas with their cultural context to educate me. I'm humbled by the meetings.

meat
I first came across this book during my travels, The Alchemist. I was perusing the neverending junk books found in airports when I saw this one. A fellow traveler spoke up and said she had enjoyed the book. Since the novel was only little less than two hundred pages, I decided not to pick it up. But, I've been reading this book whenever I'm perusing books at the bookstore. It's one of those books that sticks with you. The stories are a blend of biblical fables and the self-help sentiments but once you read it, it attaches to your subconscious.

small world
I wonder what the impact of the being able to watch one country's media on the other side of the world. The World Cup has reminded me how powerful nationalism is no matter where a person lives. Whether it's a person watching TV shows from another country or watching sports away from home. BTW, Vive la France!
Our global world is blooming right in front of our eyes.
