short sighted

Groups of people can be easily lead to be short sighted. Each manager has certain goals they have meet and their goals comes first before anybody else. This could be in contrary to their customer's needs. It's easy to see how hurtful this mindset could be to the overall company. Achievement isn't great if it runs people and company to the ground. Yet, balancing goal-minded with overall good company health is a skill that separates the leaders from the managers.

There really is nothing new in the world of management.
