trust
Trust is a daily commodity at work that isn't recognized enough. Miscommunication and conflicts arise not because people are misinformed but because of the lack of trust in the workplace. Non-profits run smoothly in part because that level of trust is expected. Most people don't go in to a hospital thinking someone is going to do them harm. Working with change policies at work, I'm learning that trust is integral to change management. The hard part is that trust is an individual preference and very difficult to manage.
On other things, I have become enthralled Miyazaki's films (Nausicaa and Princess Mononoke). I don't agree with all his messages but I love the way he tells the story. His animations convey story complexity and creativity that definitely is at the genious level. I like Nausicaa the best right now.
